The Olive Tree Apartment Hove

We rented this property for the Brighton Marathon weekend, and it was perfect. Great location to get everywhere we needed, whether it was the marathon or for somewhere to eat. The apartment was a great place to relax before and after the run. Amazing property.

A superb location, the apartment was spotless and had so many facilities! There is so much attention to detail and some really lovely touches, such as the chocolates and Prosecco on our arrival. The hosts checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.
We went for several walks along the beach which was a stone's throw from the Olive Tree.
Excellent restaurants and eateries were within easy walking distance.
Ample parking (a major plus for a city break!)
Will definitely be back - we had a delightful and very welcome break - should have stayed for longer!!

All the reviews for this apartment were excellent and on arrival our expectations were not disappointed. It was a little stressful trying to find suitable parking to unload on the first day, but we knew this from reviews and from reading up on street parking in Brighton, however after the first day we were able to find nearby street parking without too much of an issue and charges were very reasonable, especially compared to central Brighton.
The accommodation is lovely and the owners (Peter & Debbie) have clearly tried to make it a home from home, with books, games, a full range of kitchen appliances including a number of coffee machines and a welcome box of chocolates and bottle of Prosecco to greet us!
Information was provided by Peter and Debbie regarding arrival, the location etc. and we felt we had all the information needed for our trip.
The only improvement I'd suggest is a dressing table in the main bedroom, giving a suitable point near a mirror to dry your hair with the provided hairdryer. This is an oversight many hotels make, as someone with long hair I don't like standing for 20 minutes nor do I want to sit on the floor. This is a minor issue that's personal and in no way detracts from the wonderful accommodation and homely feel.

It's a few minutes’ walk to the beach and is a nice 20-30 minutes stroll into Brighton city centre, alternatively at the other end of street there is a wonderful selection of cafes, bars and restaurants, we were happy to eat in these local restaurants a couple of times and the food did not disappoint,
A great homely alternative to some impersonal hotels and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, wish it had been longer to make more use of those board games!

I stayed here with a couple of friends in June, and we were all really impressed. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with lots of thoughtful details. The location is perfect within a minute walk to the beach and a short walk from the main nightlife area. There is lots of nice pubs and restaurants very close. The hosts were helpful and put out gifts for our arrival, they even stocked the freezer with ice cubes which was a nice touch.

Lovely large apartment with well-maintained outside areas and high-quality fixtures and fittings. Very quiet road with a pleasant walk into central Brighton along the sea front. Would definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olive Tree Apartment - a festive treat. Looking forward to coming back again in the spring.

Nicely presented throughout - they really had thought of everything! Couldn’t fault anything. Perfectly situated on a lovely street in Hove - a short walk into Brighton and lots of lovely places to visit, shop and eat in Hove too. Parking was easy enough to find and the meter is outside the property.

Very well equipped and comfortable apartment. Central location but quiet. Very helpful hosts, from beginning to end. We really enjoyed our holiday; no hassle and we knew our hosts were available should we need them. Already booked for 2022!
